Istanbul The House Hotel Beyoglu

In Istanbul I like to stay somewhere that feels more like a home away from home than a hotel. Situated in Beyoglu in Istanbul's 'Soho' district, the House Hotel was built in the 1890s and features stylish art noveau inspired interior design by Autoban. It's also walking distance to some of Istanbul's most bohemian suburbs including Cihangir and Cukurcuma where you can lose yourself wandering the laneway boutiques and antique stores and there's plenty of places to pit stop for a cay (tea) in a local tea garden.
