Beauty Shoot with Georgina Billington

Istanbul artist Gerorgina Billington (MAC Turkey Senior Artist & Body Painter), photographer Murat Suyur and I recently collaborated on a beauty shoot to create three stunning looks inspired by art, life and photography.

Inspired by Georgina's recent trip to LA, Inked Magazine and my contribution - artist Damien Hirst's diamond encrused skull for a touch of luxe glamour. Hair was kept minimal and slicked back draw attention to the eyes. Model was styled in my favourite Swedisn label Whyred Boyfriend Blazer and Peeptoe ring (Australia) to keep everything else but the make-up minimal.

The aesthetic of organic beauty

Inspired by American photographer, Joyce Tenneson this look blended the raw texture of organic crushed paper with a minimalist focus on the skin.

The Birds

For this look, we took inspiration from Alfred Hitchcock's 1960s film The Bird's and The Magical Book of Monsters which depicts the Phoenix Bird rising from flames. Hair and make-up was kept glamorous and and the look was completed with neon-pink blood spilling from the body.
